Naturopathic Medicine
Wichita

I was born and raised in Wichita, KS. I played college basketball at Friends University from 2002-2006, where I was a two-time First Team All-Conference player and an Academic All-American. After a (late) degree change in college, I decided to pursue a career in health care. I started working as a medical assistant for a local family practice clinic from 2006-2010, where I gained invaluable experience from my amazing colleagues. After a personal health experience with a functionally-minded medical doctor, I knew I had found my calling in naturopathic medicine.

A few months after getting married, I was off to Chicago, IL to start school! I graduated magna cum laude from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL, one of seven schools accredited by the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges. Towards the end of my training, I learned about Dr. Jeff Davis and Prairie Health and Wellness through a friend's Facebook post (of course!). During the last trimester of my internship, I came back home to spend a day with Dr. Davis in his new clinic and we hit it off! We ended up running into each other again at a medical conference back in Chicago, where his lovely wife, Julie, recognized me during a break. Upon returning to Wichita after graduation, I saw Dr. Davis was looking for a medical assistant to join his practice, and I was looking for something productive to do while waiting to take my board exams. I reached out, admitted I was overqualified but hungry to join an awesome medical team! The rest is history...I joined the Prairie Health and Wellness team as a medical assistant in August of 2014 and began practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor in May of 2015 after passing my board exams.

I am licensed by the state of Kansas to practice naturopathic medicine.  My areas of practice at Prairie Health include but are not limited to: Family Medicine, Preventative Health, Nutritional Intravenous Therapy, Pediatrics (including those with special nutritional needs), Gastrointestinal Health, Thyroid and Adrenal Health, Lifestyle and Nutritional Counseling. I have a deep desire to help people get to the root cause of their health concerns. I also have a passion for teaching others how to optimize their health through lifestyle choices. When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me spending time at home with my husband, Tim, and daughter, Charlotte.
